‘Hans Free Electric’ Bike Can Generate 24 Hours Of Electricity From Just 1 Hour of Exercise!

Date:

Imagine if you could generate electricity by just riding a bicycle and if every time you used that bike to exercise you were knocking off the cost of your electric bill! Well, believe it or not, it is possible. Someone has thought of this and actually created a machine that can do it! It’s called a Hans Free Electric hybrid bike and it was invented by billionaire philanthropist Manoj Bhargava.

This wonderful idea makes it possible for a person to supply a rural household with energy for 24 hours by just exercising for one hour. The bike functions through a very simple form of mechanical energy – the flywheel is activated when you pedal, and this powers the generator that charges a battery.

Bhargava says:

“The Free Electric is made with standard bike parts, which makes it easily fixable by any mechanic around the world. The bike is cheap, clean, and practical in terms of providing energy to those who need it most on a global scale. Our target is to begin with India, but really it can be used anywhere. There are 1.3 billion people around the world who are still living without access to electricity.”

The creator’s motivation for coming up with this idea was to “empower the powerless”. Bhargava strongly believes that the Hans Free Electric hybrid bike could essentially “create better health, more leisure time, better access to education, and opportunities for entrepreneurship—it could literally change the world.”

With the Hans Free Electric™ bike, you have electricity on demand. There’s no utility bill, no need to buy fuel, no need to wait for the sun to shine or the wind to blow, and no pollution! On top of all that, countless studies have proven the unbelievable benefits of exercise. To name a couple, exercise has been found to prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s and it has a beneficial effect on gut bacteria composition. If all of that is not enough motivation to get in shape then nothing will be.

Authors Note:

When I found out about this bike I thought “why not make all exercise equipment at the gym like this?” What if there was a free gym for the public in every city, maybe even several in big cities, where anyone can go to do their exercise. Then all the energy produced by the people working out all day would be fed into the city grid. Clean green electricity is keeping people healthy, saving them money, and helping the environment! Amazing.
