At the same time, however, it is also important for provinces to ensure that they do not take a particularly heavy-handed approach when implementing regulations – as this could end up having a negative effect by driving people towards illegal forms of gambling such as black market websites. Instead, they should work closely with organizations like the OLG in order to find the best possible solutions for each province.
