Designed by Alberta, Canada-based Teacup Tiny Homes, the ‘Innisfree Anarres’ is a 28-foot tiny home on wheels with solar panels on its roof and a solar air heater on its side. The house may look small from the outside, but inside there are two large sleeping lofts, a kitchen, bathroom and an abundant storage compartment on the rear.
With a total length of 28 ft (8.5 meters), based on a triple-axle trailer, its exterior is fitted with metal and natural wooden cladding. The tiny home can run from a standard RV-style hookup but the benefit of solar panels reduces grid-based electricity usage.

The large panel on the exterior wall next to the front door is a passive solar air heater. Reliant upon sunshine, it doesn’t work at night or during bad weather. Therefore, the tiny house features a wood-burning stove and an integrated heat pump system.
Teacup Tiny Homes explained:
The solar heat panel beside the front door captures and warms the air in the cavity behind the panel. Once the air temperature in the compartment is greater than the temperature inside the home, a damper is opened, and an internal fan pushes the warm air into the home. The fan is powered by the small solar panel at the bottom of the panel.

The Innisfree Anarres has two bedrooms, both of which have low, yet open, ceilings that create a feeling of coziness. A storage-integrated staircase leads you to the main bedroom, which has more storage space, a double bed, and a skylight, so you can look to the stars as you sleep. The lofted second bedroom also fits a double bed and may be more appropriate for younger people as there is a ladder that accesses it.
The interior of this charming home measures out to be 348 sq. ft (32 sq. m). The main living room area includes a comfy sofa with beautiful spaces for décor around the house. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities you’d expect; a microwave, sink, fridge/freezer, two-burner induction stove, and a breakfast bar. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, linen storage and even clothes washing machine.
This cute tiny home only costs about US$105,000. For more information, go to their website.
