The internet has turned our era into a time of fast and easy communication. The only thing that has been lagging is translators…that is, until now — introducing the Timekettle WT2 Edge, the world’s first bi-directional translating earbud that performs in real-time as you speak and listen. They’ll deliver what you say to your listener’s ear in 0.5 – 3 seconds!

And since opportunity rarely knocks twice, the WT2 Edge runs on 15 servers worldwide, ensuring the fastest translation possible, anywhere you are. You’ll get a low-latency translation of 40 languages and 93 accents with 95% accuracy. They’re the ultimate tool for business meetings, social interactions, or things like ordering food at a restaurant. They break the language barrier smoothly, with no awkward pauses or interruptions.

The WT2 Edge is powered by six leading translation engines (Google, Microsoft, DeepL, iFlytek, Hoya, and AmiVoice), plus its own simultaneously because each has its perks. What if your somewhere without an internet connection? The translator-buds have seven of the most spoken languages stored offline for such situations.
The handy in-ear translators work in three modes:
- Simul Mode: This is a one-on-one experience where you can lend one of the earpieces to the person you’re talking to.
- Speaker Mode: This mode is for moments when you don’t want to offer an earpiece, and the person you’re trying to talk to doesn’t have a pair. For example, for short conversations with a waiter, taxi driver, or bartender. Your phone becomes a speaker that translates what you say and vice versa. But when the person replies, their translation isn’t spoken aloud by phone; you hear it in the earbud. The edge app in your phone also displays the translation on the phone screen if you’re in a loud environment.
- Touch Mode: This experience is for multi-people conversations. When it’s your turn to talk, you press the earpiece to activate your mic and mute everyone else’s. When your done talking, you push your earpiece to open the conversation again to everyone.
The Timekettle app also has the option of recording conversations and conference meetings. Everything spoken is converted into text, letting you capture and share meeting minutes and transcripts of discussions.

The device works as seamlessly as it does thanks to dual-beamforming microphones and advanced vector noise-canceling algorithms that work together to capture your voice only while canceling all excess sounds. Furthermore, the earpiece is tailored to fit snug and never fall out.
The battery has a 3-hour non-stop capacity on a single charge and twelve hours with the portable charging case. That’s plenty of time to ensure you’ll never be cut off mid-sentence!
