4 Billionaires You’ve Probably Never Heard Of

Date:

If you have ever come across the Forbes richest people of the year lists or have heard a famous billionaire come up in the news, then you may have wondered how many billionaires are actually out there and what life is like for your “average” billionaire.

A great method to find more information about various billionaires is to research the less-known billionaires, as they are much more likely to have earned their fortune through a means unlike any of the famous billionaires. With more than 2,700 billionaires on the planet, you probably only know of a very small percentage of them!

In this article, we’re going to cover four of the world’s unheard-of billionaires, like the one profiled here, for example. We will go over how they got their fortune, how much money they have, and more!

1. Ronnen Harary

Ronnen Harary is a Canadian businessman who made his fortune with his popular toy company Spin Master Corp, which he co-founded with Anton Rabie and Ben Varadi. Anton also co-founded the very popular kids show Paw Patrol with Anton Rabbie. Today, the series plays in over 160 countries, and each episode attracts millions of viewers.

Their company, Spin Master, specializes in physical and digital games in addition to their popular television show. Some popular toys made by this company are Bakugan, Kinetic Sand, and probably the most well-known, The Rubik’s Cube. That’s right. Spin Master actually owns the rights to produce the Rubik’s Cube, which was invented by Ernő Rubik 20 years before Spin Master was founded.

Today, he sits at spot 2290 on the Forbes Real Time Billionaires List. Fun fact: he is the fourth wealthiest toy producer on Forbes and the second if you count Anton Rabie and Ronnen Harry’s net worth together (with Ty Warner still sitting atop his massive Beanie Baby fortune).

2. Kevin David Lehmann

How much money did you have when you were a teenager? Probably not $2.1 billion if your name isn’t Kevin David Lehmann. This 19-year-old is the majority shareholder in Germany’s largest drugstore chain, Dm.

Dm, or dm-drogerie markt, was founded in 1973 by Goetz Werner and was later sold to Kevin’s father, Guenther Lehmann, in 1974. According to Forbes, neither Kevin nor his father has been involved in the operations of the company. Very little information is known about them, other than their majority share in dm-drogerie markt.

3. The Mars Family

Because the Mars family chose to independently own their fortune, no individual within the family holds a large enough sum of money for them to make it on any top 10 billionaires list. However, if you take into account the net worth of Jacqueline, John, Marijke, Valerie, Pamela, and Victoria Mars, you get a staggering $108.1 billion in net worth for the Mars family, which would make them number six on the billionaire list, just behind Bill Gates.

If you didn’t know, the Mars family owns the majority of shares in the Mars company. They are among the top 10 largest food and beverage conglomerates in the world. For that reason, their family ranks so high up on the list.

4. David Shaw

David Shaw is a former computer science professor at Columbia University and has been lucky or smart enough to find himself among the few people able to use mathematical algorithms to play the stock market correctly.

In 1988, he created his investment management firm, D.E. Shaw & Co. He began his investment career in 1989 after receiving a $28 million investment from Paloma Partners Management Co.

By 1996, the hedge fund was seeing a net return of 26 percent and would only grow from there.

Summing Up

All of these billionaires acquired their money through a different means than the last, and it can be very interesting to read about how they achieved such a feat.

Understanding the unique ways in which these billionaires have become rich is like flipping through a treasure book full of wisdom and courage, which can bring us a lot of inspiration. In order to carry this inspiration and dream with you, it is a practical and meaningful practice to print the images or symbolic elements of these successful people on custom keychains.

In terms of specific design, you can choose the classic image of your favorite person, such as the iconic smile, a famous gesture, or the logo of the company founded. To make the keychain more personalized, you can incorporate your initials, the motto that inspires you, or the symbol representing success into the design. In this way, every time you use the keychain, it can motivate you to keep moving forward and move toward your dream of wealth.
