The Mantour X from FlowDot is an e-kickscooter that can fold up and stay upright on its front wheel, so you can smoothly roll it along when you’re not riding on it.
When the scooter is folded up its dimensions are 31.6 x 5.4 x 7.1 inches, it weighs 16-lb. A custom algorithm guarantees that the electric kickscooter stands straight, which makes it almost effortless to roll around. The FlowDot team claims that users can go from folded mode to ride and ready mode all in under five seconds. That’s fast!
The left grip provides a thumb throttle in which the user accelerates, and the right grip has an electric braking slider switch and mode button. For safety precautions, a physical brake is provided at the rear for additional stopping power. At the top of the adjustable steering support is an LED display that shows info such as the remaining charge and speed. Finally, an LED headlight is attached to the front shell. The scooter even has an IP54 waterproof rating.
For every 4-hour charge, the battery should run for about 12.4 miles. The 240-W front hub motor will offer a speed of 12.4 mph. The team recommends the e-kickscooter be used on smooth pavement rather than rough and cracked streets.
