De’Longhi, an Italian-based small appliance manufacturer who offers a wide range of kitchen and home appliances, has recently unveiled – Hygge – a wall-mounted radiator (heater) that doubles as an air purifier.
Hygge, designed by Italian designer Alessandro Stabile, will keep your house warm in the winter while providing clean air to breathe. The patented appliance is aesthetically pleasing and can be installed into any room in the house. Aside from offering comforting temperatures, it can instantly remove odors from the kitchen or a bathroom. When installed in the bedroom, it guarantees allergy sufferers a peaceful night’s sleep.
Hygge’s circular touchscreen panel on the top allows users to control the settings effortlessly, including the temperature, switching to air purification mode, and even the time and date. It also informs you of how many days you have left until you need to change the filter. According to the designer, Hygge is the world’s first wall-mounted air-purifying radiator.
Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word that means “a sensation of comfort, safety, and coziness,” and this appliance lives up to that name, offering homeowners a cozy warm environment with safe, pure air to breathe.
