Standbox is a combination of a shoebox, a bag, and a shoe display – allowing it to protect, carry, and present shoes. Its small compact form will enable manufacturers to distribute more products at once, reducing the carbon footprint directly at the manufacturing stage. The designer Elif Bulut intended to create a product that saves space and produces minimal waste to the user, manufacturer, and seller during the production, distribution, and storage phases.
Some advantages of the shoebox design include the seller and user don’t need large plastic organizers to store and display the shoes, and it can be carried without the need for a plastic or paper bag.
It is a clever packaging design that aims to use energy resources more efficiently, take up less space than its counterparts, to minimize the need for extra plastic and cardboard.
Standbox adds value to a typical shoebox by simple modifications that keep in mind the manufacturer, seller, and user’s needs and the effect of the entire cycle, from production to waste.
This shoebox, designed to be long-lasting, is perfect for those who love to keep shoeboxes to protect their shoes. See detailed photos below.
