Manual chain hoists use manual lifting for their workloads and are ideal for infrequent lifting because operators must pull the hand chain each time. They are used for lower lifting capacities and are easily transported within any facility. Another advantage is that they are less expensive to buy and install than powered-type hoists.

A lever hoist is more adaptable and ideal for pulling or fixing loads in various positions. Typically, it has a freewheel function that allows the load chain to be freely adjusted to the desired positions.

Electric chain hoists use electricity and have a greater lifting capacity than other types. You can also use them more frequently because the push-button pendant allows for simple operation. It is an excellent choice for your manufacturing or production facility.

Hoist lifting speeds vary greatly and should be carefully considered before making a choice. In general, faster lifting speeds are preferred for long or short lift applications that require a large number of lifting/lowering cycles to be completed in a short period.

The torque requirement is determined by the weight of the load to be lifted and the required lifting speed and hoist gear ratio, which in turn dictates the motor horsepower required to provide that torque. Trolley Mounted

Trolleys allow for movement on the top of the bridge beams of an overhead crane, the low flange of a monorail beam, and the low-flange bridge beam of an overhead crane.

Lug Mounted

Consider the state of loading when determining the capacity of electric hoists. The Hoist Classification criterion determines hoist life based on the loading state. If the capacity exceeds the actual load, the hoist’s life will be extended, but the initial purchase price will be higher. Choosing the proper power supply is also critical, especially when working with electrical hoists. Additionally, electric hoists can be powered by a single- or three-phase power supply. Single-phase hoists can lift lighter loads, while three-phase hoists can lift heavier loads.
